Local Voices: Heritage & Neighbourhood Character

June 17, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Local Voices: Heritage & Neighbourhood Character [Virtual Zoom Meeting]

As we spend more time at home, the character of our neighbourhoods is more important than ever. Join Local Voices online as we explore the role of heritage in defining the character of our neighbourhoods and the communities we call home. Our participants include:

  • Jackie Swanson, past president of the Hollyburn Ridge Association, on re-vitalizing the cabin community,
  • Tom Dodd, Chair of West Vancouver’s Neighbourhood Character Working Group, on preserving neighbourhood character in the municipality,
  • John Mawson on the restoration of West Vancouver’s Cianci House in the neighbourhood formerly known as Dogwood Hill,
  • Tony Dean & Yvonne Perrault on the relocation of Copper Cottage in North Vancouver.
