West Vancouver Historical Society’s annual barbecue, hosted by the West Vancouver Lawn Bowling Club, took place on Monday, Sept. 9 with society members and guests enjoying hamburgers, hotdogs and dessert as they celebrated the culture and history of West Vancouver.
There was live music courtesy of sibling violinists Robert and Ava Jarvis. Members of the North Vancouver Museum & Archives Friends Society were on hand as they spoke to the gathering on the upcoming and ongoing work at the new NVMA set to open in Lower Lonsdale in 2020.
