In honour of Heritage BC Week, the West Vancouver Historical Society invites you to join a guided tour of Point Atkinson Lightstation on Sunday, February 24, 2019. Tours are at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Registration is required. Please contact pointatkinsonpals@gmail.com.   Meet at the Lightstation gates by the stone wall at the foot of Beacon Trail, Lighthouse Park.  Elaine Graham will provide the guided tours.

The life and adventures of Julia Henshaw, an early resident of Caulfeild, is the subject of an illustrated lecture by Michael Kluckner at West Vancouver Historical Society’s next meeting.

Julia Henshaw and her husband established their home in the Caulfeild area in the early 1910s. Author and lecturer, botanist and explorer, socialite and war-time volunteer Julia was a fascinating individual.
